4/27/2012 · Grabbed a Mallory comp 32 distributor for my current project and it uses the YH advance setup, no vacuum advance . Correct me if I’m wrong, but it almost appears that you need to have the distributor out and gut it to adjust the advance . Probably why Mallory doesnt explain it in the instructions.
6/15/2019 · I locked the advance and ran it on the tester and it still had a 5 degree advance in it. Something is not right and I have no idea what to do to correct it. Maybe if I JB weld the 2 shafts together. I am exploring other distributor options. I like the Performance Distributor Dura Spark simply because the caps are easy to get.
